If you love animals and watching race cars race around the track every weekend - than you will love this book called, 'Pit Road Pets'. The book will put you in the driver seat of your favorite race car drivers and a behind-the-scenes look at the animals they love. Here are a few quotes from the book and pictures of your favorite Nascar Drivers & their pets...

Ryan Newman   "There is always enough love in our house for a dog"

Dale Jarrett & Zoe  "You can't get a friend more loyal than your dog"

                                                Tony Stewart & Kayle

"It doesn't matter what kind of day I've had on the racetrack or at home," "Kayle helps change   my mood in a hurry."

                                          Dale Earnhardt, Jr. & Killer

"Our personalities are really the same: We're real laid-back. We like to sleep and lay around,"  "If you've had a bad day or if you get kind of selfish and start feeling like, 'I didn't get what I wanted out of the day.' It's just like how your friends can cheer you up; your dog can, too. It's a good reality-check that there are more important things going on in the world than what you are trying to achieve that day, that moment."

                                             Elliott Sadler &  Chelsea

"How can you look at a dog or a cat or an animal and not love them"

Welcome to USA CRITTERS PDF Print E-mail
We are proud to welcome Mr. Monty Roberts to www.usacritters.com We have seen him in action and his work with these beautiful animals we call 'horses' is amazing! Monty is The "Man Who Listens to Horses"

Monty Roberts, known as the “Man Who Listens to Horses” has led an extraordinary life. An award-winning trainer of championship horses, best-selling author, Hollywood stunt man, foster dad to 47 children (in addition to three of his own) and creator of the world-renowned and revolutionary equine training technique called Join~Up, Monty Roberts could now, in his later years, be resting on his laurels -- but that’s not his style.

Roberts has won countless awards and received immense worldwide press coverage, put three books on the New York Times best-seller list, trained some of Queen Elizabeth II’s equestrian team in London and been awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Zurich. But if you go looking for Monty Roberts, you won’t find him lounging in his favorite chair high up in the hills overlooking his horse-training farm in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. The “man who listens to horses” is more likely to be found somewhere on the globe continuing to spread his message of nonviolence.  You’re more likely to find him speaking to incarcerated youth in a juvenile detention facility, gentling his 15,000th horse at a demonstration, teaching his techniques to the growing number of students at his Equestrian Academy in Solvang, California or advising executives at Fortune 500 companies.

Thanks Monty for contributing to a BETTER WORLD FOR HORSES & PEOPLE! Join-up with Monty at his website:             http://www.montyroberts.com/ju_about.html

 George Jones & Bandit

George Jones received his little Jack Russell Terrier, Bandit from his grandkids. George came up with the name Bandit from the name of his record lable comapny - Bandit Records. So, next time you're out at a George Jones concert don't be surprised to see Bandit hanging out with George Jones and his wife, Nancy backstage or on the bus.

Dierks ex-girlriend called Dierks from the pound about 8 years ago, crying over a dog. Dierks describes Jake as "the worlds most expensive pound dog", because after Jake came home, he developed parvo - the most dangerous canine disease that can strike a dog. It was all worth it the girlfriend is gone, but Jake is Dierks Best Friend. Where does Jake sleep? "he sleeps in my bunk" says, Dierk.

   Brad Paisley & Palomar

Brad and his wife, Kimberly love living the country life in their 100 year old farmhouse in    Brentwood, south of Nashville. Brad adds, 'It's really the perfect piece of land.
I can't believe we were lucky enough to find it' Pictured is Brad and his buddy, Palomar who resides on his farm.'There's nothing like walking out into the field and having Palomar see me and come to me'

At an early age, Carrie Underwood was a true animal lover and still is today! She grew up on a farm in Oklahoma with cows, dogs, cats, and all kinds of critters. Pictured is a young Carrie Underwood hanging out with one of their cows on the farm.

His two dogs found him while he was driving the tractor at his farm. "The dogs came out of nowhere and jumped right in front of my tractor," Shelton says. "They were maybe four or five weeks old at the time. It was a steamy-hot June, and the puppies were extremely dehydrated, wormy and starving to death. We were leaving town that day, going back on the road, so we had to take them with us. They needed to be nursed back to health, so we made many a trip to the vet. "In return, they have shown us so much loyalty. We're gone so much, but they don't forget. The minute they see our truck, they go crazy. It's amazing how they know we are their parents. ... They are one of the reasons I look forward to coming   home."

                                                                                                                Wynonna Judd

Few Nashville dog fans can rival Wynonna, who at last census had 14 dogs. Some of them travel with her on her tour bus, or even when she flies.
"Wynonna has a lot of really little dogs," Lacy says. Lacy is the author of 'Music Row Dogs and Nashville Cats' book and 'Pit Road Pets' book. "She has a lot of Chihuahuas. Boy, it's a brood of them. If you watch her, they all walk around her. It's hysterical. She's like Mother Earth, Mother Nature, and I love her. . . . Wy is one of the neatest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing."

 Miley and Her Doggie

Miley Ray Cyrus loves her animals. She and her dad, Billy Ray Cyus are back on the ranch filming the Hannah Montana Movie. When Miley is away from the Ranch she misses braiding her horses tails and manes. Their 8 horses, 4 dogs, 2 cats, fish, and chickens reside on their 500 acre farm in Tennessee. Her Uncle Mick takes care of the critters while their away on tour.
